Montana 211 is a 24/7 phone hotline and website dedicated to providing assistance for a wide range of needs, one of which is transportation. Public transportation, such as the system offered by Billings MET transit, provides accessible transportation to all, reducing costs and barriers associated with other forms of transportation such as cars.

Their resource specialists assist with a variety of needs. These categories include addiction, aging/senior services, children and families, COVID-19, crisis/emergency, disability services, education, food, health/medical, housing and shelter, income/employment, legal services, LGBTQ, mental health, service members and veterans, transportation, tribal resources, and utilities.
